CHCP / PPF Advisory Group and Your Voice Network

In April 2011, Inverclyde Community Health & Care Partnership (CHCP) Health and Social Care sub committee agred to strengthen the voice of local people by building on the existing Your Voice Netwrok and creation of CHCP Inverclyde Advisory Group.

The purpose of the Network is to:

  • Bring people with a common intereset together to create a stronger voice in influencing decisions and the development  of services and support
  • Strengthen the work that is already happening in the community and
  • identify common issues of concern
  • highlight any gaps in service provision
  • work in partnership with statutory partners to develop solutions
  • highlight areas of good practice - what works well

Your Voice will work in partnership with Inverclyde CHCP to establish and support the Inverclyde Advisory Group that will be made up of officers from the CHCP and local people representing the following key areas:

  • Long term conditions and self care
  • Older people
  • Homelessness and housing
  • Secondary care inc hospital discharge and palliative / end of life care
  • Carers
  • Disability inc pgysical and learning
  • Mental health & well being inc dementia
  • Addictions
  • Childern and young people
  • Healthier life styles & health inequalities
  • Adult protection
