Being part of a community can make life feel more meaningful and enjoyable! It can help us feel happier/safer, even improve our mental health ❤️
At our new Health and Wellbeing Hub we have a variety and range of peer support groups and activities which can lead to feeling more connected and being around others in similar situations or similar interests can provide a network of support 😎
There are loads of great community assets within Inverclyde - what do YOU access that improves your mental health? Being involved in hobbies/activities/groups can lead to strong connections and create a sense of belonging, which in turn can improve our mood
Physical activity is great for improving our mental health, some of our staff take part in the local weekly Greenock Parkrun, it has a great sense of community! Why not try it – walk, run or jog 5K, you can even volunteer! 💪
Being part of a group of like minded people can really boost mental health, it might be a running club, peer support group, gym group, activity group, social group, we encourage you to be curious and try something new 😀
It's important to look after yourself, take some time to breathe and decompress after a long day 😇
What helps you destress? It could be a hot bath, favourite film, meeting with friends, afternoon walk, share it below! 👇
